1)make a complaint, and

2)ask for a prompt solution.

You should write about 100 words on the ANSWER SHEET.

Do not use your own name. Use “Li Ming” instead. (10 points)

To whom it may concern,

As a student, studying and living on our campus, I am writing to you for the purpose of complaining about the noise produced by the construction site in the university.

The noise has interrupted everyone’s sleep and seriously affected our lives. Moreover, the buzz is distracting attention of many students around in the self-study room. There are so many negative effects that I won’t list them all.

To eliminate the impact of noise on our lives, we hope that the school will come up with a solution as quickly as possible. I am looking forward to seeing a difference soon.

注意

這里有幾點(diǎn)要注意的：

首先，收信人不明確時(shí)可以用Dear Sir or Madam或To whom it may concern,，最好不要只寫(xiě)Sir。

其次，內(nèi)容上，寫(xiě)這類(lèi)題材作文的時(shí)候同學(xué)們要特別注意，即使是投訴，也要禮貌和客氣，不能居高臨下地指責(zé)。客觀的陳述事實(shí)，說(shuō)明你的要求即可。

最后，格式上要特別注意，稱(chēng)呼語(yǔ)和署名后的標(biāo)點(diǎn)，兩個(gè)逗號(hào)一個(gè)不能少，更不能多，因?yàn)楦袷藉e(cuò)了要扣分的哦;且稱(chēng)呼語(yǔ)要左對(duì)齊，署名右對(duì)齊。
